
Directions
By Road: Take M20 to Maidstone and continue until Junction 7 Exit here. Follow sign A249 to Sittingbourne. Once on the dual carriageway get into outside lane and be very careful to take the FIRST right to Detling approximately ½ mile. Follow this road past the church on your left, then left hand bend continue up the road to nearly the top and you will see a small sign to Thurnham on your right.
Turn right here (opposite the Cock Horse pH) onto The Pilgrims Way continue along for approximately 1 mile until you reach The Black Horse pH on your right. Turn right at the Black Horse ph into Thurnham Lane and continue down the hill. You will pass two bungalows on your right. Then follow the fence and continue past some ornate entrance gates on your right. The road bears right; the next entrance on your right is Parsonage Farm Farmhouse. You will see a wooden five bar gate and the farmhouse set back in the farm with a large pond in the front. If you do miss the Detling turning, take the next left, and 'U-turn and go straight back across the dual carriageway and then you will find the Pilgrims Way on your left opposite the Cock Horse pH on your right, continue with the directions. Otherwise you will end up in Sittingbourne 10 miles away! If you would like to eat out may I suggest you book up early. Within a very short distance we have two very good pub/restaurants.
By Rail: Court Farm Farmhouse is only 1 mile from Bearsted railway station, which is on the Connex South East line between London Victoria and Ashford International. Turn left out of the station and turn immediately left into Thurnham Lane. Follow the road for one mile. Parsonage Farm Farmhouse is the second left after the motorway bridge. A taxi can be arranged upon request.
