Situated in the heart of Kent, Parsonage Farm Farmhouse provides the perfect base for visiting the many attractions that the South-East has to offer - only 35 miles from London, 15 miles from Ashford International Station, 3 miles from Leeds Castle and 7 miles from Rochester's historic Dickens Centre. The County Showground at Detling is just 5 minutes drive. Parsonage Farm is a welcome break from the tedium of travel whilst providing an excellent starting point for a journey.

Towns:

The Farmhouse is 4 miles from Maidstone, the commercial centre of Kent and 10 miles from King's Hill, one of the South-East's leading business parks. The historic towns of Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells and Rochester are all within 30 - 40 minutes drive.

Golf Courses:

There are several pay and play courses in the Maidstone area; Cobtree Manor, Tudor Park, The Weald of Kent and Leeds Castle to name but a few.

Dining:

A short walk up the road is the a delightful pub/restaurant serving excellent food and a good selection of beer. The atmosphere is friendly and you will always receive a warm welcome. Bearsted village also has a couple of restaurants worth a visit, and for a wider choice, Maidstone is a only a couple of miles away.

Leeds Castle:

Described as "the loveliest Castle in the world", Leeds Castle is built on two adjacent islands in the river Len, and was the home to Henry VIII in the 16th Century. The scenic gardens and picturesque castle overlook the extensive grounds which are home to a testing 9-hole golf course. Henry VIII, the most famous of all the owners of Leeds Castles, expended large sums in enlarging and beautifying the whole range of buildings.
